Feast of Tabernacles
I remember back in 81 at the Feast of Tabernacles, we were in Squaw Valley then, I was a student at Ambassador College. I was there with Mr. Monson and we were all of us students got in, they had bunch of Greyhound buses they rented. Really nice buses, at least 3 or 4 of them. I bet 300 students were there at least because there was 500 students normally so I believe it was 300 that went to the Feast in Squaw Valley, I’m guessing. The attendance at that site that year was 5891 was there at Squaw Valley at the Blythe Arena. It had 6,200 feet above sea level. 32 degrees in the morning, about 49 to 50 in the afternoon. Well we got there, I won’t tell you the whole story, it’s a little bit long, but we got there and we’re in these dorms and they built these dorms for the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley.
