Bible Study

Good evening everybody! Welcome to Friday night Bible Study here again. Hard to believe last Bible Study in February, we only have 2 more and we’ll end our season and then we’ll pick up again in the fall as soon as the time change occurs after the Feast in November. Tonight I want to pick up where we left off. We’ll go to 1st Corinthians, Chapter 6 and in the first 11 verses here we’ll see that Paul instructs the Corinthians to stop taking their personal disputes into the world’s courts. The Corinthians had been carrying their conflicts into the Roman court system and we’re really making a mockery of the Church of God by feuding in public and Paul corrects them pretty strongly for this. Their inability to settle their personal disputes illustrated the sharp divisions that existed in the Church at that time and these lessons are for us yet today.
