It is not enough to keep God’s law in letter only. Mr. Lowe examines the scriptures which exhort us to keep the law in spirit also, especially in the context of the Hebrews 10 vs. 25 command to assemble on the Sabbath day. Mr. Lowe contrasts the zeal of the prophet Jeremiah to the litigious nature of the Pharisees of Christ’s day and evaluate the differences in fruit borne from different approaches to obedience. Peter, Paul, the Ethiopian queen’s eunuch, Philip, and the like are also considered in the discussion. The sermon ends with understanding why assembling is always important but is so much more so in these end times.
