I want us to begin the Sermon by going over to Daniel, Chapter 6. This clearly is an example that we have used many times in the Church. It’s not a new example, but I want to point something out here in Daniel, Chapter 6 and we’re going to begin reading in Verse 3, says then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governor’s and satraps because of an excellent spirit was in him and the King gave thought to setting him over the whole Realm. So the King really liked Daniel and He also had respect for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego after they stood up and did the right thing and would not bow down to the idol. These young men God was working with in a powerful way and they were just like any other young man except God gave them some special talents and abilities.
