Lot’s wife looked back and became a pillar of salt. Look at how big the church was in Worldwide days as compared to how small we are now. How many have turned back and become a pillar of salt? If it could happen to them, who is to say it cannot happen to us? Our adversary is looking to bring us down and sift us as wheat (Luke 22 vs 31). Powerful infections will kill their host unless the host kills it. Build up your spiritual immune system to root out the infection of sin. We are in perilous times. The world has grown worse than Sodom and Gomorrah. Our national blessings and prosperity are starting to be taken away. We cannot be dragging our heels like Lot, not scoffing like his sons-in-law, not turning back like his wife. We need to turn away from Sodom and not look back. We are called to be pillars of the truth and the salt of the world, not pillars of salt.
